Free Larimer County Divorce Forum held by Fort Collins Divorce Professionals

(FORT COLLINS, CO) Going through the process of divorce can be one of the most stressful situations we face in life. Decisions made today may impact your financial and emotional state of being for many years to come. In order to shed some light on the process of divorce, child support and parenting time, Mitch Tacy Family Law Attorney & Mediator is hosting a free public Divorce Forum on Saturday, April 26 from 10:30AM to 12:30PM  at the Council Tree Library community room in Fort Collins.

Joining Mr. Tacy as a presenter will be Jackie Marro, Self-Represented Litigant Coordinator, 8th Judicial District. She will speak about the resources available to Larimer County Residents at the new Self Help Center, at the Larimer County Justice Center.   Kathryn Lees, L.C.S.W., a Child and Family Investigator for the past 10 years, will discuss the CFI’s role in divorce child custody (parenting time) cases. She will highlight how important each person’s role and communication is in resolving parenting time issues before, during and after Court.

Fort Collins Family Law Attorney Mitch Tacy will discuss the different ways to approach divorce including: filing for divorce yourself, mediation and Court litigated divorce. “To save yourself financial and emotional expense, it is crucial that you understand all of the options available to you in the divorce process,” said Attorney Tacy.

After presentations by the panelists the public is invited to ask questions. Questions for panel members will also be taken in advance via e-mail divorceforum@tacylaw.com. Following the Divorce Forum, answers will be available at www.tacylaw.com/divorceforum.
